This past week, I was researching German records, hoping that there would be records from my ancestors’ village. Alas nothing online yet but in the process, I discovered some great Czech records including birth and marriage records for my ancestors. Are you tired of cleaning and sorting during our ‘stay at home’ time? Me too. That is why I thought you might enjoy learning about an online site for researching family history. I may have mentioned this site when talking about Luxembourg research but let’s take another look as there are records available from other countries.
Wishing you a Happy Easter! Family history research is about connecting with those ancestors who walked this earth before us. During this crazy time, I hope that you are able to connect with those you love. If you're not able to be there in person, connect by one of the many electronic ways we can now reach each others or with a thoughtful card via snail mail or a quick phone call. It's more important than ever to stay in touch with those important people in your life. Stay healthy and connected this Easter!
With our topsy-turvy world, many genealogical sites are kindly offering free access to additional records and collections. Most are free to explore without registration while a few require you to register and provide a credit card if you choose to continue. Let’s look.
