I hope you had a great holiday season and welcomed 2020 with friends and family! I’m still catching up from the holidays but wanted to share information about the upcoming RootsTech 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Let’s look.
With the London RootsTech held in October, it seems like no time has passed but the 2020 RootsTech in Salt Lake City will be here in February. Even if you’re unable to attend in person, remember that they are very generous and allow people to listen in via live streaming and recordings of key events. One of my resolutions is to ensure that I carve a few hours a month to read or watch a genealogy video. We can all build our skill-levels with additional learning. You can learn more about the RootsTech 2020 SLC. The event is being held at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah from February 26-29. The key speaker this year is Emmitt Smith. I took a quick peak at the schedule and it looks like a plethora of topics abound. You can see the schedule here. What kind of genealogy goals have you established for 2020? Perhaps like me, you will focus on “sharpening the saw” and taking a few hours a month to learn new genealogy skills. Looking forward to the coming year as we learn new family history tips together.
